The boot is the mandatory starting bet each player puts in before cards are dealt. In Highstakes rooms the boot amount is higher than in standard tables, setting the minimum pot size from the first card.

A blind player bets without looking at their cards. In Highstakes, playing blind carries a stake advantage — you bet at half the current limit compared to a seen player at the same table.

A side show lets you privately compare your hand with the player who bet just before you. If your hand is weaker, you fold. It's only available between two seen players and adds a reading element to Highstakes rounds.

Once you look at your three cards, you become a seen player. Your minimum bet doubles compared to a blind player at the same stake level, so timing when you go seen matters at higher chip limits.

The pot limit caps the maximum bet at the current total in the pot. Highstakes rooms often use pot-limit rules to keep rounds competitive without a single bet ending the hand instantly.

Pakki refers to a pure sequence — three consecutive cards of the same suit. In most Teen Patti variants including those on our lobby, it ranks above a normal sequence but below three of a kind.
